Our client, a Manchester brokerage, is seeking a senior insurance sales manager to join their team in Manchester City Centre. The ideal candidate must have 5-6 years of experience as a development executive within the commercial insurance market sector.
The key purpose of this role is personal sales contribution towards continued corporate sales growth and profit targets set by the Managing Director.
The role involves:
-Overall responsibility for the new business and cross-sales targets of Development Executives.
-Overall responsibility for the appointment-making success of the Contact Manager.
-Working alongside other Senior Managers to lead strategic sales planning - including identifying target markets and maintaining a solid pipeline for the department.
-Ensure prospects and new clients receive a consistently high standard of service.
-Providing insurance advice to prospective and new clients, identifying their insurance needs.
-Working with Client Managers and Client Service Executives to present accurate risk information to Insurers and deliver the most appropriate insurance programme to new clients.
-Organisation of workflow and supervision of staff, planning tasks and delegating as appropriate.
-Overall responsibility for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key partner Insurers.
-Maintain knowledge of current market conditions.
