 Commercial Broker is responsible for ensuring  deliver appropriate technical advice, broking and day to day administrative service to Commercial clients. Principal responsibilities are:

1. FOR CLIENTS

  •   Provides prompt and accurate technical support.

  •   Accesses the insurer market on the client’s behalf to access competitive terms or

    speedy resolution to client queries wherever possible utilising  facilities.

  •   Ensures that all documentation produced for the client is accurate and issued within deadlines.

  •   Determining broking strategy and programme design in conjunction with client service colleagues.

  •   When appropriate coordinates with Claims department to ensure speedy settlement of claims.

  •   Works in accordance with Compliance requirements on each client account.

2. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  •   Develop a wide understanding of insurer appetite and help disseminate this to the rest of the team.

  •   Ensure compliance with procedures.

  •   As required take on project and development work where technical input is required.

  •   As required assist in implementing the overall business plans.

KEY MEASURES

  •   Accounts Queries Completed within 5 working days.

  •   All client work completed within a reasonable timescale for the circumstances.

  •   All New Business / Renewal Instructions issued to insurers.

  •   Client losses/growth.

  •   Full and effective use of systems, procedures and placement practices.

  •   Issue of invoices correctly and on time.

  •   Issue of PRQ`s correctly and on time.

  •   Issue of Renewal Reports correctly and before renewal.

  •   No E&O’s or Compliance breaches.

  •   No Overdue Renewals (unless on extension).

  •   Quality and accuracy of all work.

  •   Time Management/Punctuality.
