Finance Manager

Our client a Manchester Brokerage is seeking a Finance/Accounts Manager who will deal with the compilation and publication of monthly management accounts comprising P&L, Balance Sheets and cash-flow.

Managing all related accruals and prepayments as necessary, including monthly balance sheet control, reconciliations, and all nominal ledger journals

Monthly summary of operational business activity by the department, reconciling to P&L.

Overall responsibility for processing and payment of all overhead costs, ensuring correct coding and treatment of such in accordance with accounts regulations

Compilation of annual budgets and forecasts in conjunction with Directors.

Month and system close, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial reports, performing investigations.

Experience Required:-

Over five years Accounting and Finance experience, ideally gained within the Insurance Industry

Knowledge of Acturis is highly advantageous
