- Renewal & Service Advisor Job DescriptionThe Job:A Customer Service & Renewal Insurance Advisor is responsible for the customer journey: in thefirst instance providing Customer Service, Renewal and Admin support connected to their insuranceneeds, be it by phone, in person, via post, e-mail, website or referrals, ensuring the Company andFCA rules and guidelines are followed whilst providing the best customer journey possibleWhat you will do:• Provide an excellent level of customer service (dealing with queries andadministering policies) as a Renewal & Service Advisor offering support via the full range ofInsurance products provided by the company in connection with customer requirements and needs forAdjustments, Renewals and Claims support.• To provide a friendly and efficient service notifying customers of all relevantinformation complying with the company and FCA requirement.• Plan and process renewals to efficiently control your own, and others within theteams, workload ensuring individual and company service standards are achieved.• Plan and process mid-term adjustments and customer service queries to efficientlycontrol your own, and others within the teams, workload ensuring Individual and company servicestandards are achieved.• To achieve objectives of individual and team goals and to contribute to the teamdeveloping effective relationships internally and externally.• Make a positive input into the team effectiveness, suggesting improvements to worksystems and processes.• Lead by example and be an active part of the team in achieving sales, renewals,service and admingoals• Ensure company brand materials and working space meet and exceed companypresentationstandards• Keep your product and industry knowledge relevant and up to date by undertakingContinuousProfessional Development• Adhere to both Company and FCA rules and guidelines• Any Ad-hoc duties that may be deemed relevant by managementJPIS Renewal & Service Advisor Job Description V2 May21What you need to bring:• Product knowledge and Industry Experience• Motivational Skills• Customer Service Skills• Results driven• Self-Motivation• Teamwork• Organisation and Time-Management skills• Oral and Written communication skills• IT literateExpected Behaviours:• Act in an honest and open manner at all times with both the customer and the firm inall matters• Have a customer focused approach• Ensure that business transactions are conducted in a way that is clear andstraightforward• Act with integrity by demonstrating fairness and impartiality• To follow the firms policy on Treating Customers Fairly and the FCA Code of Conduct(COCON)
