EXPERIENCE

Knowledgeable and experienced Account Handler specialising in Professional Indemnity, as well as having exposure to other Financial Lines products. 5+ Years PI/Financial Lines experience. Candidates can come from either an Underwriting or Broking background.

WHO IS THIS ROLE SUITABLE FOR

We are looking for someone who has the drive to want to succeed and sees this opportunity to join a forward-thinking insurance brokerage to further their insurance career. You must be keen to service clients, develop long-term relationships and have the confidence to discuss all types of insurance covers with these clients.

You are probably an Account Handler but want to accept a new challenge either progressing your career to Account Executive and building your own book of business or alternatively, wanting to work where your colleagues are able to assist you with your further development handling an array of more complex, traditional and varied professions.

You should also want to develop your knowledge, learn from others and take control of your personal development plan.

You will be responsible for Professional Indemnity business with premiums mainly ranging from £5k to £25K but with opportunities to work closely with our Senior Brokers and Client Directors on cases up to £250k, and all cyber, D&O and general commercial insurances as required by these clients.

You will work alongside our existing Affinity and Underwriting teams, our Broker Manager and Marketing Manager, and you will be supported in your role of generating new business and retaining existing clients. The ability to attend seminars and networking events to obtain new clients and raise brand awareness is a must.
