- Description
- Our client is an independent brokerage in Stockport are seeking a Trainee/Apprentice Account Handler.
They offer entry to our apprenticeship scheme to become Cert CII qualified within 18 months and involves commitment to completion of IF1 & 2 and IN10 and building a portfolio of work.
In addition, they have a cohort of apprentices across all our offices, who meet on a BI monthly basis and receive training combined with a social event.
The candidate must;
- Support the Line Management to improve the functionality and efficiencies of the department to ensure clients are treated fairly at all times.
Meet and greet guests, settling them in, making drinks, franking & opening post, assisting brokers and executives with additional administration tasks as called upon, attending inhouse and external training.- Service a range of SME commercial insurance products (E.g. Package/Commercial Combined/Landowners/Liability).
- Continue with personal development to ensure compliance with FCA rules and maximise development opportunities that the company may offer
- Complete the required training plan via Broker Assess/other platforms to comply with company rules and importantly support own development plan
- Develop a deep knowledge & understanding of the core products offered to customers by A&B/DRP to ensure competency and also expand client bank to include commercial and corporate clients
