- Junior Account Handler (Apprentice)Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship, supported by our training partner SkillsEdge and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Qualifications, to achieve the Certificate in Insurance (“CII”) qualification.The successful candidate will be supported to complete professional qualifications within an 18-month apprenticeship, with at least 20% of their working time dedicated to training, studying and learning.As a Trainee Insurance Broker, you will need to complete a variety of tasks including:-Build and maintain ongoing relations with clientsTake information from clients, to enable assessment of their insurance needs and risk profileResearch insurance companies’ policies and negotiate to find the most suitable coverEnsure that clients understand the terms and cover providedManage client needs throughout the policy life to include any amendmentsAdvise clients in respect of claims and how to mitigate riskSupport team members with managing their client base and answering customer queries via telephone and email.No prior experience is required. You will be given appropriate support and supervision to both carry out your job role and complete the apprenticeship.WageNegotiable/age dependent on minimum wage but reviewed at year end as part of appraisal and salary review, and potentially again on completion of apprenticeship.Working Week37.5 hours working Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a half hour break for lunch each day.StockportFuture Prospects DescriptionWith further training and career development opportunities available, this is a really exciting time to join our business and build a long and successful career within the insurance industry.We personally invest and fully support and develop our staff.
