Who will I be working with?
You will be working for an independent commercial insurance broker, providing local expert insurance solutions for small to medium size businesses throughout North Wales, Liverpool & Manchester.
Established over 10 years ago, this brokerage provides tailor made insurance provisions to meet specific business needs with a focus on offering a traditional service with that personal touch.
What will this role of Commercial Insurance Account Executive entail?
Reporting to the Managing Director, as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive you’ll be responsible for providing outstanding levels of service to a wide and diverse range of businesses.
You’ll ideally be working within a similar role, with your own book of clients, servicing their insurance needs and requirements, handling and creating new enquiries. Your main responsibilities and duties will include;
- Delivering a helpful and professional service
- Visiting clients to present renewal and new business proposals
- Managing the renewal cycle of all clients, collating risk information and researching the market where appropriate
- Following up email, web and postal enquiries by telephone to provide quotations and generate new business
- Preparing client reports for new and existing clientsto support the management team
- Handling inbound calls for insurance quotation requests and policy alterations
What will I need to be considered for this Commercial Insurance Account Executive vacancy?
- Proven experience gained within commercial business insurance, ideally with an existing portfolio of clients
- Ability to build successful relationships with clients
- Able to work well within a team environment
- High level of numeracy and literacy skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
