- Our Client is Seeking an Account Handler/Underwriter to working within their Worldwide Marine Division
The ideal candidate will either have Marine Insurance experience or Commercial Insurance Experience and will be happy to deal with clients of all sizes throughout the World. Cross training will be given- Work involves dealing with the clients day to day, answering the phone/dealing with emails, MTA’s, Renewals, preparing and collating reports for clients, negotiating and collating renewal terms. Sometimes face to face contact with the clients, involved in surveys and meetings where appropriate.
- Fronting our online cargo platform – dealing with queries, issuing certificates of insurance and being the face of this system to our client base
- Willing to progress and be trained, further opportunities and development for the right candidate
- Open to exams/CII progression or continue that journey (not essential but we do offer support for CII exams)
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to get stuck in at a busy office
- Be organised, confident, work under pressure, good on the phone, personable, confident and customer focused
- Ideally some Acturis experience but not essential
- Complete the required training plan via Broker Assess/other platforms to comply with company rules and importantly support own development plan
